Yesterday, my daughter scooped up mashed potatoes with her spoon and ate them.
SHE USED A SPOON!
Yes. I am proud of this. I even teared up a little bit.
Let me tell you, the other two kids, who are older than her I might add, do not use their spoon.
It's strange what motherhood does to you. Who would have ever thought that watching my child use a spoon for the first time would make me proud.
